Past or future ?

If you had a choice, would you go back and change the past, or would you go forward and  know the future?

I have seen people repling to above question with answer like," I will neither go in the past nor in the future, I'll always love to live in the present". And I respect their opinion when they say so as they have their own reasons to justify the same.

But if you'll ask me, I'll most of the times would like to go forward and know the future. Want to know why ?
Well, it's because of three reasons:-
1) I only have one choice i.e. either I can go back in past or go forward in future. In any case I can't chose both.
2) I want to know whether what I'm doing today is leading me to the path where I want to go. By knowing future, I'll able to change my current actions accordingly.
3) Going back in the past simply means forgetting what all I've learned so far and that is what I can't afford.  Whatever I've learned so far and whatever I've achieved is because of lessons I've learnt in the past. Though people might say that you've made a lot of mistakes in past but for me those are my infinity stones. Those lessons are like gems to me and I'll always wear them proudly.

There's a famous saying, " Begin with end in mind" and if I know whether my current actions are taking me to the place I want to reach or not, I'll definitely like to go forward in the future.

DILIGENT Mnemonic : Dil ko jeetne wala diligent hota hai and Dil kafi care and hardwork k baad jeeta jaata hai. Diligent is an adjective which means it a quality of an individual.
